Planning and Zoning

The Planning and Zoning Department serves Maiden by overseeing the land development process, and working with property owners, developers, design professionals, and business owners to provide guidance on property development, rezonings, permitting, property annexation into the Town’s corporate limits, and other elements of property development to ensure compliance with the Unified Development Ordinance and other Town policies and plans. 

The Planning and Zoning Department can handle inquiries on existing zoning, potential new development, regulations for signs, whether a storage building can be added to a lot, how to divide land, and many other issues.
